Helen Smith

Board member since 2011

Helen Smith has dedicated her career to public service, religious organizations, and the banking sector. She began her professional journey in southern Oregon, working part-time as a transcriptionist and dispatcher for both the Police Department and Sheriff’s Office in Grants Pass. Subsequently, she served as a church secretary and office manager for 22 years at Grants Pass First Assembly of God, later known as Parkway Assembly of God. Transitioning to the banking industry, Helen built a 23-year career, culminating in her role as Vice President at HomeTown National Bank in Longview, from which she retired in 2015.

Helen and her husband, Lloyd, have been married for 59 years and are proud parents of four children, ten grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. In 2011, they joined the Board of Directors of Faithful Servants Ministry, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing transitional housing and support services to individuals in need.

Helen’s extensive experience in administration and her commitment to community service have been instrumental in her contributions to both her professional endeavors and volunteer activities.
